today in In memory of our darling Mother, Mrs. Martha Jane Burrell, who departed this life March 29, 1953. Mother dear, one year ago, you fell asleep, And left us here, to sigh and weep. It was so hard to see you go, For we really loved you so. They say time heals the broken heart, But no, that isn't true.

For one long year has passed And our hearts still break for you. God gives us strength to carry on And courage to bear the blow, But. darling, how it hurts to lose you Only God can ever know. You're safe with Jesus, this we know. For thru your life His love did flow, And rejoicing on that Heavenly shore We'll meet you, Mother, to part no more.
