This is a rare problem for him to come up against, due to only other Sith commonly utilizing such a capability. However, in Return of the Jedi, the force lightning used by Emperor Palpatine is shown to be immediately and vitally debilitating to Darth Vader.

You'll need to parry his attacks, which deals a ton of damage to his stun gauge. This is the main way you can get in damage. Otherwise, the only other window to attack is after Vader does his unblockable grab attack. You can get in a single stab after it, but be careful to not get grabbed.

Ultimately, Darth Vader's final act was one of his greatest feats as seen in Return of the Jedi. Redeemed by Luke who never stopped believing there was still good in him, Vader was brought back to the light as Anakin Skywalker, defeating Emperor Palpatine aboard the second Death Star to save his son.

It gives Darth Vader pretty much a max of over 1000 HP. with focus rage popped, so it makes him unkillable and even more broken, especially in trooper modes.
