Jesus Calling – July4th
WHEN YOU WORSHIP ME in spirit and truth, you join with choirs of angels who are continually before My throne. Though you cannot hear their voices, your praise and thanksgiving are distinctly audible in heaven. Your petitions are also heard, but it is your gratitude that clears the way to My Heart. With the way between us wide open, My blessings fall upon you in rich abundance. The greatest blessing is nearness to Me – abundant Joy and Peace in My Presence. Practice praising and thanking Me continually throughout this day.
John 4: 23-24 – “Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”
Psalm 100:4 – “Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.”

Singing with the Angels
You’ve heard people say things like, “She sings like an angel.” But did you know that you really can sing with the angels? When you worship Me in spirit and truth, your voice joins with choirs of angels who are always praising Me. While you can’t hear their voices, I hear every word of your worship and praise.
To worship in spirit and in truth means that you truly worship Me. You don’t just go through the motions – sitting and standing at the right times, closing your eyes to pray. It means that your heart and your spirit are really praising Me, because you know I am the All-Powerful God.
When you truly worship Me, it opens the way to My Heart. Then My blessings rain down on you. And the greatest blessing of all is simply being near Me.
I know I say this quite a bit…but it is true, I love Praise and Worship time during our services at church. I have to be honest…I love to Praise and Worship the Lord every chance I get. I sing praise music in my car, I sing praise music in my house, I listen to praise music when I clean my house, I go to sleep listening to praise music, I wake up listening to praise music, I listen to praise music during my quiet time…every chance I get I will listen to, sing along with and dance to praise music.
I love the thought that as I am praising and worshiping Him in both spirit and truth…angels in heaven are singing along with me. I am looking forward to the time when I will be singing along with this angelic choir, in heaven, before my God and my Savior. So, until that day…won’t you join me in singing to Him right now? With one voice, let’s sing…

Forever in Your presence we will sing
We will worship, worship You
An endless hallelujah to the King!”
